Eco Quest in Celebration of World Environment Day

Eco Quest Held in Gazipaşa to Celebrate World Environment Day

To mark World Environment Day, the Foreigners Community of Gazipaşa organized an environmental event on the town’s beach, bringing together residents from different countries, families with children, and everyone who cares about protecting nature.

The highlight of the event was an Eco Quest specially designed for participants. Attendees were randomly divided into four teams: “Sunset,” “Sea,” “Sun,” and “Türkiye.” Each team received its own color, set of tasks, and environmental challenges.

For 40 minutes, participants collected litter along the beach while working together and raising awareness about environmental protection. At the end of the activity, an award ceremony was held and participants received various prizes and gifts.

Special attention was given to children through creative workshops and activities. Families and children also collaborated on a large poster where they shared their wishes, messages, and expressions of love for Gazipaşa.

A special guest of the event, actor and artist Cez Bey, presented an environmental-themed performance that added a unique and artistic dimension to the program. The performance became one of the most memorable moments of the day.

Interviews were also conducted with participants, allowing them to share their thoughts and experiences regarding environmental awareness and conservation.
