If Someone Is Touching a Nest

1. If someone is fencing a nest, has placed an umbrella or beach furniture nearby, or is playing near it, approach them and explain that this must not be done.

2. Scare away birds or animals that are near a nest from which hatchlings are emerging.

3. If you find a vehicle on a beach where turtles nest, report it to the local law enforcement authorities.
